Frequently Asked Questions.

Flu, shingles (Shingrix), pneumococcal, hepatitis A and B and the combined Twinrix, meningococcal, Tdap, COVID-19 boosters, HPV (with a prescription), RSV, MMR, varicella and polio boosters.

Shingrix is publicly funded in British Columbia for eligible groups, including older adults and people who are immunocompromised. Ask us and we will check your eligibility.

Our pharmacist assesses your age, health status and immunization records against BC's immunization schedule and tells you what is outstanding.

Yes — high-dose influenza vaccine, Shingrix, and both pneumococcal vaccines are the ones most commonly recommended for older adults.

A BC Services Card is required for publicly funded vaccines. For privately purchased vaccines it is not.

Yes. We provide documentation for everything we administer, and your immunizations are recorded in Panorama, BC's provincial registry.

Yes, Gardasil 9, with a prescription. Publicly funded doses for school-age children run through BC's school immunization program.

Yes, and it is more common than you think. Tell us before your appointment and we will take extra time to make it as easy as possible.
