Yes. The flu vaccine is free for eligible BC residents 6 months and older under the publicly funded influenza immunization program.

October through November, before flu season peaks. That said, the vaccine still helps through to spring — it is rarely too late.

Yes. You do not need to transfer your prescriptions or be an existing patient. Walk in any day we are open.

No. The vaccine cannot cause influenza. Some people get a sore arm, mild tiredness or a slight headache for a day — that is the immune system responding, not an infection.

Children 2 and older, yes. For children under 2, see your family doctor or paediatrician.

Yes, for adults 65 and older. It produces a stronger immune response and is recommended for that age group.
